After 2 years together, Carissa and James knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together and headed to Hawaii for their Maui Elopement! Not even some wind or scattered showers could put a damper on this incredible day. In fact, their ceremony turned out to be epically beautiful. See if you can spot the double rainbow they got to witness, a rainbow is always a good omen on your wedding day and this happy couple had two! Double the luck never hurt anyone. Not that they need it, they’re an incredible pair and we have every confidence they will have a long and happy life together.
Carissa looked positively stunning in a formal wedding dress, that not only fit her to a T but also looked perfect on the sandy shore. We are obsessed with the subtle flower pattern, this detailing created the most exquisite dimension and was a dream to capture on camera. We also adore the straps on this gown, check out how they draped low in the back to create an open back concept. This classy look had just the right amount of pizazz to bring a sexy element to their intimate Maui Elopement. James added to their classy yet playful vibe by wearing a sleek suit with no tie leaving the collar of his white button-up open. This is one of our favorite looks for a groom, and James absolutely rocked it! We are thrilled with how our photos of these newlyweds together at Ironwoods Beach with the Maui sunlight glowing all around them, turned out. We love them so much we can’t even pick a favorite, but this photo of them kissing with the sun setting behind them is definitely in the top 10! One thing is for sure, Carissa and James are one romantic couple, it was truly an honor to photograph them on their wedding day 🙂 .
