A lucky Maui Engagement Portrait session! Misato and Naoya originally wanted to have their session at Baldwin Beach, however, they had rental car issues and needed to switch to Baby Beach at the last minute. Turns out this was a good thing because it ended up being really stormy on the North Shore and was completely calm over in Lahaina! We were even surprised with a rainbow arching over the ocean, creating a stunning background for their engagement photos. Watching these two lovingly and playfully interact was so special. We are thrilled they found each other and know they will have a wonderful life together!
They plan to marry in the spring on the Island of Japan, where they are both from. We love how the bride to be, chose to wear a knee-length white dress with a frayed edge for their Maui Engagement Portrait session. This was a subtle way to hint at their upcoming wedding while still being appropriate for engagements. Her Fiancé wore an aqua blue button-down shirt with rolled-up sleeves, perfect for spending a morning at the beach! We love how this color picked up the color in the Maui Ocean and sky above. So fun! As we wrapped up our time together, we spotted a seal resting on the sandy beach. This is not a common occurrence and one that we are sure this couple will remember for many years to come!
