Last week, we met up with a gorgeous family we’ve had the pleasure of watching grow! Our team first met the Kalscheuer & Chungs in 2017. Since then, we’ve captured their Maui beach portraits four times! As always, we had a ton of fun with the Kalscheuer & Chungs! We adore photographing the Kalscheuer & Chungs portraits! During every session, they always have two goals. The first is to capture their vacation together, and the second is to document their growth. Every time we see them, we learn how much their personalities have changed and see the milestones they’ve achieved!

Not to mention, they can’t beat taking photos in a breathtaking location like Maui! We know this new collection of memories will look exquisite decorating their house. In addition, they’ll be hanging on the wall with the portraits we’ve captured in the past years!

Why They Took Maui Beach Portraits

Stephanie and her brother grew up visiting Hawaii because their parents love this island. For as long as they can remember, they’ve been vacationing in this tropical destination! Over the years, this bunch has had many new additions — including Stephanie’s husband, sister-in-law, and children. Above all, we adore being part of this meaningful tradition!

The Kalscheuer & Chungs have taken Maui beach portraits at different locations on the island. However, they decided to make Ironwoods Beach the backdrop for this session! The ivory sand, sapphire waves, epic lava rock formations, and dramatic cliffs created a beautiful scene. Then the morning weather was flawless — the blue sky was clear of clouds, so the sun was vibrant!
