Our company owns a successful vacation rental condo and we have the insider information you need to ensure your photos are compelling and effective in getting people to book your unit over the thousands of others available on Maui.
According to Airdna.com Airbnb did an internal study and claims that listings with professional-level photographs earn 40% more revenue than those without.
And a Carnegie-Mellon study dove even deeper. The study identified 12 separate parameters of Airbnb listing photos that could be optimized. Things like brightness, composition, and image clarity. Each parameter was assessed in terms of how many extra nights of booking might be gained from optimization.
The results were dramatic. First, 72% of the half-million photos analyzed were characterized as “low-quality”. And even more important, if all 12 parameters were optimized, a rental could potentially book an extra 60+ nights per year!
Any way you slice it, poor listing photos are costing most rentals thousands of dollars in revenue every year. The investment in a quality photographer will pay for itself quickly.

Our Maui real estate photographers will photograph the property in our signature bright airy and artistic style.
We will be mindful not to include unsightly things like open toilets and trash cans, we will photograph the unit AS IS so it must be photo ready. We will send you a list of what needs to be done prior to us arriving.

-30 edited images sized for MLS, AirBnb or custom sized.

*$50 travel fee to West Maui

STYLING WITH ITEMS AVAILABLE IN THE UNIT
We will ensure every pillow is perfectly placed and move things around in the condo as needed for the perfect photos. An accessory carefully placed or placemats and place settings on the table can add a lot to a photo.
STYLING WITH FOOD AND WINE
Fresh bread, fruit, a nice bottle of wine can all add to the ambience and feel of your listing photos. We will bring these items with us and set up in shots.
ADD ON SUNSET PHOTOS
We typically shoot during daytime for the most blue ocean and sky, however if you want us to come back for a photo of a sunset view, you can add that on.

Karma will visit the vacation rental in advance of your photoshoot and give you recommendations on changes to the decor that could enhance your listing.
For initial visit and recommendations, west side units incur a $50 travel fee.
If you would like to make the recommended changes, Karma will work with you on a custom price and work within your budget for the items needed to purchase. Sometimes it's as simple as some inexpensive accessories and re-arranging existing furniture to make all the difference. Sometimes it takes a bit more :)
