Oahu Wedding Photography is one of our favorite things to do! Oahu has some of the most epic locations that we just love to photograph. We teamed up with our sister company Simple Oahu Wedding to showcase one of the most beautiful Oahu Wedding Venues. Working with real brides and grooms is so much fun, but this was a great way for us to get creative and put together some inspo for our clients!
3 Inspirational Tips for Epic Oahu Wedding Photography
1. Pick a Location that Highlights the Island’s Beauty
The Royal Hawaiian Golf Club is one of our favorite wedding venues because it captures the raw natural beauty of Hawaii. Imagine having your ceremony here surrounded by the most majestic mountains as your backdrop! You can even take an electric golf cart ride about 5 minutes to a lush tropical wild jungle for more exclusive wedding portraits!
2. Add to the Beauty with Simple Decor
With mother nature already doing the heavy lifting in the decor department a great way to add and not detract from it is with a simple wedding arch. Like this hexagon one! We love the design of it and how well it went with the dark wood chairs. It seriously looks like it belongs, plus it was the perfect prop for photos!
3. Get Professional Hair & Makeup Done
To enhance your Oahu Wedding Photography, we always recommend getting professional hair and makeup done! Especially since the heat and humidity of Hawaii can be tricky to work with when you aren’t used to it. It was a particularly hot and humid day for this shoot but our bride model’s makeup looked great all throughout the day! We were able to give our friends at Reveal our vision of bold tropical yet romantic, and they did such a great job matching the feel of the shoot with the hair and makeup. Plus the soft curls and bold lip looked perfect with the vibrant flower crown!
