Before their ceremony, the pair were all smiles and emphatically said how in love they were! A Sacred Commitment – Their Maui Elopement

Their private ceremony began right on the beach, just the two of them. Without the bells and whistles of a larger wedding, their wedding photography solely centered on their love and a sacred commitment to each other. It warmed our hearts as they exchanged their vows to the sound of the waves! The couple wanted a simple and relaxed affair that celebrated their love and devotion to each other. Adorned with traditional marital Hawaiian leis, they looked impeccable together!

You and Me

We are forever curious about how our lovely couples meet, so we had to ask! Camille and Mitchell met on a dating app and hit it off instantly. Several years later, they got engaged at the same bar where they had their first date – so romantic! Although Mitchell had never been to Hawaii, Camille had visited Oahu and the Big Island a few times. So they felt Maui was the right fit for them because of its easygoing lifestyle and raw, natural beauty. And here they are now on the beach, officially “Just Maui’d!”

After exchanging their vows, they shared their first dance as husband and wife. We must admit, this did make us a little teary-eyed! It was so moving, especially with the single ukelele playing alongside the lulling rhythm of the waves.

A cake on the beach for two, please! After their first dance, it was time to celebrate their big day! Camille was glowing in her flowy, beachy gown that was breezy with lace details. We loved the simple silhouette because it matched perfectly with the beachy ambiance. As we were capturing their Maui beach elopement, Mitchell couldn’t stop looking at his gorgeous bride!

To end their special day, they walked and danced together down the beach at Ironwoods! This location, in particular, is our favorite for golden sunsets. The light was incredibly luminous that evening, as you can see! Moreover, the scenic views of the shoreline and natural lava formations are a fantastic backdrop for Maui elopements. These two couldn’t look happier as they twirled into the sunset! You can tell Maui has that way of bringing out our couples’ playful side!
