We were honored to take Candice and Ken’s Maui Destination Wedding Photography! They were so sweet together and had the best time celebrating their love. And what a wonderful love story they have! It all started 10 years ago when Candice was visiting a friend at a construction site Ken owned. Her friend asked if she was interested in any of the construction workers around. Candice replied, “Not any of the workers, I’m more interested in the owner!” After that, they met up for pizza and immediately hit it off 🙂 . They now have a beautiful life and two beautiful kids together.
Weddings with little kids are sometimes tricky, but these two were up for the task and remained “go with the flow”. They wanted to include their son and daughter in meaningful yet appropriate ways. Which we love! How cute is this photo of their girl running down the aisle in front of them after the ceremony? She was absolutely darling in a white dress with a blue sash and bow to match her mother who wore a Pronovias wedding dress and blue shoes.
It’s all about the details and this venue wedding was full of thoughtful touches! The bride and groom even brought a “Just Maui’d” sign Candice’s mother made to be used as a photo prop. We ended our evening by taking a fun photo with it at their reception location! Thank you, Candice and Ken, for letting Karma Hill Photography capture the beauty of your wedding day. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
