There are a couple certain truths that come to mind after meeting Caren and Larry at their Maui Vow Renewal. First, their family is of the utmost importance to them. Though they were there to celebrate fifty years of matrimonial bliss, their biggest priority was capturing the candid magic that happens when loved ones gather. With kids and grandkids alike on hand, there was no shortage of love or laughter. They even took the time to remember a Great Great Grandma and how she ventured to the US at just fifteen years old. Now, decades later, they walk in her footsteps and revel in the wonder of Maui.
The other undeniable fact about the darling duo is that they are still head over heels for one another. Having met in their youth when Larry was dating Caren’s friend, they would later run into one another after that other relationship had ended. With a spark ignited, and a promise to call, the lovebirds became inseparable the following week, after their first official date. Five decades later, the two have developed a color-coded system for the beloved roses Larry always gets for Caren. After years of gifting a single red rose, they now do a pink rose every ten years, and white in between. The beautiful blooms embody the love of years lived fully and wholeheartedly. We were so touched by these two and are grateful to have been on hand to capture their incredible milestone moment. Thank you, Caren and Larry, for choosing Karma Hill Photography to share in the joy of the day with you. We wish you many more pink roses together. Congratulations, Happy Anniversary, and Warm Aloha!!!
