First Touch ~ Courtney & Bruno’s Maui Venue Wedding
This sweet couple made the quick trip from our neighbor island of Oahu for their Maui Venue Wedding! Courtney could not have been more excited to be marrying Bruno, he is her best friend and the absolute love of her life! And for good reason, he is one of the nicest people we have ever met! He showed his mom the most gentle respect, it was so sweet. If the way he is with his mother is any indication of how he treats Courtney, we are sure she will be the most cared for girl in the world! They started the evening off with a “non-traditional first look”, more like a first touch. We are obsessed with this idea! Not only does it make for adorable photos, but it is also an intimate moment for a bride and groom to share their excitement while still keeping the tradition of not seeing each other until the ceremony. This shot of Courtney and Bruno kissing with her hands over his eyes is hands down one of our favorite photos ever!
When the time finally came for the wedding, the bride was escorted onto the grassy landing by her mother and father, we love this way of including both parents! Courtney and Bruno were so passionate as they exchanged their vows, they almost had us crying and laughing along. They are just the cutest couple ever! After the ceremony, it was so sweet watching Courtney interact with her little flower girl, Bernadette, who had white orchids in her hair to match the bride So fun! Before joining their wedding guests for a reception, the newlyweds headed down to the beach with us for a fun photoshoot with the sun setting in the background!
