We had the best morning with the Elledges during their Big Island family portrait session! It was a beautiful morning full of smiles and laughter. Their playful energy made for the sweetest candid moments that truly captured the essence of their family dynamic. The beach has a way of bringing out the playful sides of everyone, young and old alike, and this family was no exception, as you’ll see in these beautiful photographs below!

Beach Fun & Family Time

Now they will have many more memories to share in their home and forever hold in their hearts. ʻAnaehoʻomalu Beach, or A-Bay as locals call it, was the perfect location for their Big Island family portrait session. The ancient fish ponds added some variety to their shoot too! The beach is family-friendly, with lots to explore and plenty of tropical greenery for backdrop options.

It’s one of the most scenic and relaxing spots on the Kohala Coast to spend a beach day, and we love shooting in the mornings because the colors are usually bright and vibrant, making the tropical colors pop even more! Our sweet family was having the best time, as you can see by their genuine smiles and laughter! One of the best things about being a Hawaii family photographer is getting to witness the genuine smiles, laughter, and love between families. It’s truly heartwarming to see the bonds shared like the Elledges’ and the joy they bring to each other…
