Okay, imagine this: You’re used to Montana mountains, the kind of landscape that makes you breathe deep and feel very Main Character Energy. But then—suddenly—it’s palm trees, sea breeze, and the kind of soft, golden ocean light that makes you say, “Okay, but this is going on the wall.” That’s exactly where the Ford family found themselves in their Oahu family portrait!
Michelle and Troy, who’ve taken family pictures every year like the organized, sentimental superhumans they are, decided it was time for a scenery upgrade. They’ve done the whole Big Island thing before, but this trip to Oahu? It was a first for their kids—and a big celebration for their 10-year anniversary.
The family looked picture-perfect against the island backdrop. It was so sweet and they had the best time! It was an amazing day and they came away with some incredible photos as you’ll see!
Michelle was all in on capturing it all in their Oahu family portrait—mom and kiddos, dad and kiddos, siblings bonding (or playfully bickering, let’s be real), and even a few sweet, just-the-two-of-them anniversary shots. The joy was palpable. The kids played, the parents laughed, and the ocean did its sparkly, cinematic thing. They clearly had so much fun playing and pulling silly faces!
The Fords just added a little aloha to their gallery wall and we are here for it! And if these portraits don’t scream “This is us,” we don’t know what will! We hope you had the best time!
