“We haven’t had full family pictures in 6 years and need new ones to put up in our home since our girls have grown so much,” Jamie told us before their Big Island family portrait session! The Habbens were so excited to show the island to their girls, who had never been before! Since they haven’t had a family portrait taken since 2017, getting some tropical portraits together was on the top of their priority of things to do when they arrived! Hawaii’s Magic
The Habbens were a delight to work with the moment their shining smiles met us at Kikaua Beach! Their three girls are so sweet, and each one of their personalities shone through our lens. As Jon and Jamie told us before their Big Island family portrait session, they are growing up so fast! Thankfully they will have these precious smiles and faces to cherish in their hearts and home forever!
The island showed off again for our sweet family in the most spectacular of ways! Nature truly is the best backdrop you could ask for for family memories. The golden sunset created a glowy ambiance that embraced our dear family in all its glory. The backlit portraits with the reflection of the tide pools are some of the best of the bunch! That’s the beauty of Hawaii; nature is so magical! The Habbens hail from Southern California, so they can capture any old sandy beach picture where they live, so they really wanted their portraits to feel like Hawaii. The black lava rocks and serene surroundings scream Hawaii, don’t you think?!
