The Hammonds are a group of five visiting the island from Medford, Oregon! This getaway was Kelly and Jacob’s first time coming to Hawaii with their daughter. To make this vacation even more remarkable, this little one’s grandparents joined them for this tropical trip! Most importantly, you can tell this precious family is enjoying their beach time. In every picture, they’re smiling vibrantly!
The Brilliant Kauai Family Portraits
Shipwrecks Beach was the location for this session, and there were a plethora of scenic landscapes! Surrounding the Hammonds are ivory sand, sapphire waves, and striking lava rocks. Then we took a short hike to the top of the cliff and captured some breathtaking shots with more of Kauai’s natural beauty. However, our favorite thing about this backdrop is how dreamy the weather is. The morning sun’s rays left a radiant glow on the shore — enhancing the lighting in every picture!
The Hammonds are a sweet bunch, and we adore how they weren’t afraid to have some fun during this session! Although it was a hot day, they kept their energetic and enthusiastic attitudes the whole time. Then, toward the end of this shoot, we captured some sentimental Kauai family portraits of this cheerful bunch! These shots are so candid and lighthearted — we know they’ll look great hanging on the walls of their home!
