It’s always special when we get to take a couple’s Hawaii Wedding Photography, and working with Courtney and Jackson was no exception! This couple came from Australia because they loved the idea of being married with their feet in the sand here in Maui. And we are so glad they did!
A Special Wedding Guest
Before their wedding, they stayed at Turtle Bay in Oahu and saw a Monk Seal there. And just after their ceremony, a Monk Seal that they thought was a huge turtle started swimming to shore. When it peeked out of the water everyone got so excited and hurried over to take photos. Our photographer, Cheynice, jokingly said to Jackson, “You brought the Monk Seal with you folks here to Maui!” lol. The Monk Seal ended up sunbathing and taking a nap right next to Pacifico’s where they had their reception dinner. What a memorable experience!
Courtney and Jackson mentioned they were new to couples portraits but had lots of great ideas for poses and were complete naturals in front of the camera. Our groom even had the idea to sit on a nearby canoe for a few shots to end the night! And our bride looked absolutely incredible in her wedding dress! She had it handmade by Amy New Bridal, and we are seriously obsessed with all the details. Overall, these two were picture perfect in every way and so cute together!
