This was a special family vacation for the Higas! Their daughters are competing in a Polynesian competition, and they thought it would be the perfect opportunity for a Kauai family portrait! “As our three daughters are growing up, we are taking fewer and fewer family photos, so the last few years, I make a point to take a family photo every year,” Annie told us before her portrait session. We were honored to capture some new memories for them in a place they love!

As a busy family with three girls, the Higas are always on the go, so this vacation was all about taking a pause and enjoying the present moment. They had been to Hawaii before, but that was ten years ago! So, it was beyond time for our lovely family to be back where the aloha spirit lives…

Their portrait session took place at one of the most beautiful spots! Kealia Beach, which provided ample greenery, turquoise waters, and bright sunshine to make their Kauai family portrait truly unforgettable! They all had the best time, and we are so delighted they have new memories with the aloha spirit in their hearts…
