The Ledesmas wanted to get some great family photos while visiting Hawaii. Since there’s a plethora of natural scenery on the island, they decided to take Kauai beach portraits! These photos are lighthearted, fun, and playful. Most importantly, these pictures will remind our lovely bunch of the memories they made during their getaway. Anini Beach set the scene for this session. Located on Kauai’s North Shore, this remote spot is full of breathtaking backdrops! Surrounding our charming family are lofty palm trees, lush greenery, and striking lava rocks. Since smaller coves divide this long shoreline, the cerulean water is calm! Then the morning sun was shining down vibrantly — enhancing the brilliance of every shot!
The Lighthearted Kauai Beach Portraits
The Ledesmas are a delightful group of five visiting from Concord, California. However, this wasn’t our first time meeting every member of this bunch! In September 2021, we had the pleasure of capturing Erica and Chris’ Maui venue wedding! During this event, we also met their two youngest kids.
Above all, this getaway was a monumental time for our bunch! Chris’ oldest daughter, Erica’s stepdaughter, did not get to attend their wedding or experience the Aloha state for herself. More than anything, they knew they had to come back so she could soak up the magic of Hawaii! This time, the Ledesmas decided to visit Kauai and explore the island for the first time as a family!
We enjoyed taking all of these Kauai beach portraits! Not only did this precious family arrive at the shoreline dressed in boho-chic attire. They were also full of energy and thrilled for us to start capturing their moments. Our favorite thing about these pictures is how the Ledesmas weren’t afraid to have fun. At the end of their session, we got many photos of this group splashing in the water. You can see how lighthearted and playful every shot is for yourself!
