Lisa & Matt’s Maui Destination Wedding Photography is full of so much love and joy! This beautiful couple was wonderful to work with, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. We joined them last Saturday afternoon as they prepared for their ceremony, and we stayed with them until the sun completely set. Now we are excited to share some stunning photos from their Maui wedding photographer!

Before the Ceremony…

Before the ceremony, we got some sweet getting ready shots of both Lisa & Matt. Lisa had the prettiest posse, and Matt’s son made sure our groom was calm & photo-ready!

Getting ready photography is a great chance to capture meaningful details from your wedding – special jewelry, invitations, and the carefully-chosen attire. We’re so glad that Matt & Lisa included time for this in their Maui Destination Wedding Photography!

After all the hustle & bustle of getting ready, Lisa & Matt were ready for a few quiet moments together. So they decided to have a first look before the ceremony. On a quiet lawn overlooking the ocean, Matt waited nervously to see his beautiful bride. Lisa truly took his breath away. How could she not? She looked absolutely radiant, and Matt looked very handsome too!

A Scenic Location for Maui Destination Photography

Lisa & Matt married on a grassy lawn instead of on the sandy beach. This way they could invite a few more people, and have full seating for all their guests. This Kapalua lawn featured stately palm trees breathtaking ocean views, plus it was close to their reception venue – Merriman’s. 

Before dinner, the newlyweds took some photos with their guests. They were sure to include their beautiful children and bridal party in their Maui Destination Wedding photography.

With over 30 people joining them at their Maui micro wedding, Matt & Lisa were staying busy! So sunset couples portraits were the perfect opportunity to enjoy Maui’s natural beauty without distractions. While their guests enjoyed a fire knife performance, the newlyweds sneaked away to the seashore with their Maui photographer. We love all these romantic photos they got at sunset!

Before we parted ways, we were sure to capture some reception shots at Merriman’s. A cake cutting completed their Maui Destination Wedding Photography. Now it was time for them to enjoy a dinner with their family as they celebrated such a happy day in paradise!
