Maui was where it all began for these two love birds! Marcella and Alex’s Maui beach wedding was an elegant and romantic affair that melted our hearts; when you hear how they met, you’ll understand why! So, these two actually both met in 2013 on the Pride of America cruise ship that docks in Maui! Marcella was a dancer in the production on the ship, and Alex was the photographer! How amazing is that!?
On their time off, they would drive to Wailea on Sunday evenings and watch the sunset together… this was a long time coming, and they couldn’t have been more excited for their big day! We were so happy to be there and capture every moment!
Our beautiful newlyweds stole away to savor these precious moments, just the two of them…it was so romantic knowing that Maui brought them together! Maui has blessed them many times over!
Our Favorite Place – Maui Beach Wedding
The beautiful location for their Oahu beach wedding was Po’olenalena Beach. Know for its epic sunsets, long stretch of sandy beach, and natural lava rock formations, it was the perfect place for their ceremony. The sunset didn’t disappoint either, as you’ll see below!
Firstly, let’s talk about Marcella’s exquisite gown – she looked so radiantly beautiful; the delicate embroidery of her dress was breathtaking as it shimmered in the sun! Thankfully, her long train didn’t get too sandy either!
And, Alex was equally handsome and effortlessly cool…it was pure magic as the sun set on the horizon!
