This couple planned such a beautiful day at Olowalu Plantion House, and we are honored they chose us to capture their Maui Wedding Photography! Ana and Alex really went all out, and with the help of Makena Weddings, created a truly magical evening that we know they and their guests will never forget. We know we sure won’t!
Ana and Alex’s Love Story
But the decor isn’t all that made this day memorable! Ana and Alex were such a sweet couple that we couldn’t help but fall in love with them and their love story. So how did a girl from Romania and a guy from Australia end up meeting and falling in love? It all happend in the beautiful city of New York, where Ana had moved for college and Alex was working.
They hit it off from the very first date and then ended up getting engaged right here on Maui! So how could they not return here to get married, especially when it’s the half way distance between Australia and the east coast? Talk about perfect!
A Special Speech
When it came time for toasts, Alex offered a beautiful speech. He said thank you to all the guests, but what made it extra special was that he attempted to say some of his thank you’s to Ana’s family in Romanian. It was so sweet being that he had to learn the language just for this moment! Then, he spoke to his family in Russian! It was so beautiful!
We cannot thank Ana and Alex enough for sharing their special day with us! Taking their Maui Wedding Photography was a true pleasure and we wish these newlyweds a lifetime of happiness together. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!
