Despite having visited Hawaii before, this trip held a special place in their hearts. With Katie (11) beaming with excitement and a usually camera-shy Dylan (8) ready to be bribed, their lighthearted family portrait session at the beach became a joyful experience, capturing the essence of their love and happiness. Having already experienced the magic of Hawaii, the McKay family couldn’t resist returning for another memorable vacation. This time, the Big Island awaited them, and their anticipation was palpable. Katie, in particular, was overjoyed to be back in her beloved Hawaii, and her enthusiasm radiated through every photograph.

Photographing children can often be a challenge, but our Big Island family photographer managed to capture the sweetest and most beautiful moments of Katie and Dylan! Against the backdrop of golden sunshine and the azure ocean at Old Kona Airport Beach, their genuine happiness shone through. They were so curious about the beach and Dylan even found a natural treasure from the beach that looked like a boat! Just another reason why we love the beach for family vacations – so many cool things to see and experience!
