We absolutely adored spending time with Melissa and Marcos when they came to town for their Maui Wedding and Trash The Dress Portrait Session. Leaving New Jersey behind in favor of their first trip to Maui, they couldn’t wait to get away for the three R’s – rest, relaxation, and romance. Telling only a few people of their plans to marry while here, they truly wanted an intimate escape that would allow them to just focus on one another, and their lovely new beginning. Having met at a wedding, Marcos wasted no time in asking Melissa out that night as he knew in that moment that there was something special there. He was right. Together for four years now, they can’t wait to start the rest of their lives.
With gorgeous images to tell the story of their wedding day, they also wanted a little something extra. Choosing to have a portrait session the next morning, it allowed them the opportunity to get multiple looks for their wedding collection. Whereas the wedding was softly lit, set before the sun slid into the sea, their trash the dress session was in the morning light that casts bright blue hues across the scene. Both looks are incredible, and now they have a memory for each. This was so much fun and we can’t thank these two enough for letting us share in the joy of this time. Thank you, Melissa and Marcos! We wish you both all the best in the adventures ahead. Congratulations and Warm Aloha!!!
