The Muntzing Ohana are visiting the Garden Isle for the first time, and after spending hours researching Family photography in Kauai, Taylor fell in love with our work. And we’re so thrilled she did! We had a wonderful time getting to know the whole family as we photographed them against the epic backdrop of Shipwrecks Beach.
The Family Photography in Kauai
We met up with the Muntzings early in the morning, when the sunlight was just beginning to strengthen but the scenery still had the gentle hush of the early hours. The ocean spray created a misty effect in the distance, and with the cliff outcropping, the backdrop felt like something fit for a classic adventure film.
The last time the Muntzing family captured professional photography of everyone together was ten years ago, so they were excited to update their photo wall. Now that the kids are adults, it’s been harder and harder to get everyone together for an extended period of time, which makes finding the perfect Christmas card photo like finding a needle in a haystack!
Luckily, the Muntzings’ family photography in Kauai doubles as both a fantastic morning adventure and the perfect opportunity to frame this crew in gorgeous shots that are 100% Christmas-card-worthy!
Taylor and Quinn’s significant others joined us on the shore, so while we focused primarily on the foursome, we were sure to highlight the romances as well. Although they claimed to be shy in front of the lens, we were struck by how natural they all were! The poses, the smiles, the cute moments shared between the family, it was nothing but breezy with this awesome crew! Keep browsing for more beautiful images! We can’t decide on our favorite!
