Although there are many beautiful beaches on the island of O'ahu, they are not all allowed due to state permitting rules. These are the beaches we feel are best suited for photography while staying in line with current permitting regulations. - Lots of palm trees and cute grassy areas
- Long sandy beach
- Centrally located with parking and restrooms
- This is a popular beach for weddings, so there may be other photography going on; however, there is plenty of room for everyone
- Soft pastel sunsets
- Great for morning and sunset sessions

Kahanamoku Beach is in the heart of vibrant Waikiki fronting the iconic Hilton Hawaiian Village. With soft white sand and diamond head views, this location is both beautiful and convenient for those staying in Waikiki.

This remote rustic and beautiful beach in La'ie on O'ahu's North Shore features a white sandy beach, large grassy beach park and beautiful trees fronting the beach.

- Usually uncrowded
- Great for morning and sunset sessions (sunset is soft and pastel)

Kualoa Beach Park is located in front of the Kualoa Ranch, where many feature films have been made including Jurassic Park! The dramatic mountains of the area are definitely something out of a movie!
