With a COVID wedding that was never properly celebrated, the bride and groom’s family have finally been able to meet–and in Paradise! It was important to commemorate the occasion with gorgeous Kauai beach portraits because having this crew ALL together, may never happen again! And there were so many sweet families and adorable smiles to frame in our lens!

The Kauai Beach Portraits

With families this large, there’s always something special! From adorable little ones to grandparents still deeply in love, there was no shortage of joy with these Kauai Beach Portraits. We met up with the Braeckels to capture their photos on the beautiful shore of Anini Beach. With plenty of tropical greenery and soft lighting, it was the perfect locale that balanced exquisite backdrops with comfort. 

Although it’s challenging, we love managing large groups and working within each unit to capture family photos that perfectly encapsulate the whole crew and also highlight the individual groups. And with this ohana there were so many awesome families! We’re used to having to coax young ones into getting more familiar with the camera, but that wasn’t the case here! 

Maybe it was because the group was already so large, but it was as if we were just part of the family! The little ones opened up immediately and the whole family was ready to simply be themselves. It’s all a Hawaii photographer could ask for! Keep scrolling for all the sweet moments!
