Sara and Howard are a beautiful couple who recently visited the Big Island for the first time and were so excited to commemorate their happy news with a Big Island couples portrait session! They currently live in Los Angeles with their sweet yellow lab, Kona (how appropriate!), and are excitedly awaiting the arrival of their first baby girl this October!
Their visit to the Big Island served as a wonderful opportunity for a “baby moon,” a time for expecting parents to relax and bond before their little one arrives. Hawaii is a popular destination for babymooners like our sweet couple, thanks to its breathtaking natural beauty, warm tropical climate, and laid-back atmosphere! We were delighted to work with these two and share their excitement!
Our Time
Sara and Howard’s couples portrait session at Old Kona Airport Beach was truly magical. The soft sunset glow combined with the stunning scenery of the Big Island created the perfect atmosphere for their photoshoot. They both looked so happy and in love, radiating pure joy and anticipation for their growing family!
The beauty of their portraits lies in the simplicity and relaxed ambiance of the setting, showcasing the natural beauty of Hawaii and the love shared between Sara and Howard. We love how they wore casual yet aloha-inspired attire for their Big Island couples portrait! Although, there’s nothing quite like the glow of expecting parents! Their whole lives are about to change but in the very best way! We know how important and special this time was for these two, and we were so honored to capture it!
The island showed off for our beautiful pair at the end of our session! It was as if the island was giving these two a Hawaiian blessing for their little girl and their beginning of parenthood.
