We are so honored to be Stephanie & Michael’s Maui Wedding Photographer! They were a dream to work with, from their laid-back yet romantic attitude to their good looks and beautiful attire. And now it’s time for one of our favorite parts of the job — sharing their wedding photography preview!

The Perfect Place for The Perfect Couple

Stephanie & Michael wed at the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins, a unique wedding venue in Kihei, Maui. It’s an outdoor chapel surrounded by a tropical garden, and it’s just a short drive to the beach. They booked the venue through Simple Maui Wedding, who provided a complete ceremony package there. 

With so much natural landscaping, you don’t have to add much decoration. Stephanie wore a fitted dress and a cathedral-length veil and held a unique tropical bouquet. Michael looked dapper in his gray blazer and classic pocket square.

As their Maui Wedding Photographer, we wanted to capture both the scenery of their venue and the sweet moments between the couple. We are always up for a challenge, but these two made our job super easy. They were simply glowing, and each moment they shared was full of so much love and laughter.

Maui Wedding Photographer: Our Favorite Details

Reverend Kimo officiated a heartfelt ceremony for these sweethearts, and Louise from Manutea Nui E provided ukulele music. Stephanie & Michael let Louise choose the songs for their wedding, so she played a mix of Hawaiian and contemporary favorites that the couple and the guests all loved!

After they said “I Do,” they celebrated with a cake cutting at the venue. Simple Maui Wedding provided a small cake for the moment, and Dellables topped it with fresh tropical flowers. 

We got some photos in with their energetic and supportive guests, and then it was time for some romantic newlywed photos. They got some sweet shots around the Rustic Hawaiian Ruins before heading to the beach for sunset.
