Last week we had the pleasure of photographing The Johnson’s Oahu Family Portraits! This adorable trio visited Hawaii from Wisconsin, and they fit right into the island lifestyle. Sun-kissed and relaxed, they enjoyed a quiet morning together on the beach while capturing pictures that they’ll treasure for a lifetime. 

With little Emma growing up fast, we know these quality moments and fun-filled getaways are extra special. We’re really proud to share these bright, tropical photos with this terrific family!

A Truly Tropical Oahu Family Portraits Location

Amy, Derek, and Emma stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village during their vacation. This kid-friendly resort is located right in Waikiki and has a really fun energy. While we love spending time in Waikiki, it can get too crowded for fun and creative photos. So we decided to meet up at nearby Waialae Beach.

This sunny location is great for family pictures. It’s especially calm and quiet in the morning, and we love how the light hits the water this time of year. The best parts are the tropical palm trees, which add the perfect pop of green to the bright blue backdrop. 

The Johnsons coordinated their outfits perfectly, and we love how the muted topical tones allow their personalities to shine extra bright. Check out more of their portraits below!

Bringing Home Memories

While The Johnsons wished they could stay in Hawaii even longer, they at least have these beautiful images that will last for a lifetime. And as Emma grows up, Oahu will hold a special place in her heart.

The entire family is sure to return to the islands again soon, and when they do we hope we can capture even more Oahu Family Portraits for them!
