Kauai is the perfect destination for any adventurous family, and that’s why the Zobels had such a great time on their vacation. They were surrounded by the island’s beauty and enjoying quality time together, and it was such a joy to be their Kauai Family Photographer!

The Littlest Joys

Izzy is four years old, and Asher is two. So they keep their parents on their toes! Their lively spirits and contagious laughter were infectious — we are still on cloud nine after being their Kauai Family Photographer. 

Izzy is usually too busy being silly and active to slow down for photos, but she gave us some beautiful smiles for these portraits. And Asher isn’t the biggest fan of the sand, so he was happiest in Mom or Dad’s arms. These little personality traits make each portrait session unique, allowing us to get creative with our posing!

From the Mountains to the Sea

The Zobel Family was visiting Hawaii from Mammoth Lakes, California. They were on the island for a friend’s wedding, and it was their first vacation as a family of four. Matt & Thea came to Hawaii in 2019, and Thea spent many summers on Kauai when she was growing up.

But this time, it was a new adventure. With Asher and Izzy as trusty travel companions, they got to see the island through their children’s eyes.

We know these sweet parents wish they could freeze time, but they at least have portraits from their Kauai Family Photographer to remember this vacation and this unique season in their lives.
