When we heard Yu and Mark were tying the knot out on the open ocean, we were excited to capture their Maui wedding photography! It’s not every day we get the opportunity to be a part of such a unique experience! Our sweet couple couldn’t have asked for a better day for their sailboat excursion with their nearest and dearest. The weather was bright and sunny, and just enough breeze for their beautiful day out on the water…but before we set sail, we captured a few inimate portraits at Lahaina Shores, just outside the harbor. Yu and Mark have been looking forward to this moment for a long time, and finally, it arrived!

Love On The Water

Their Maui wedding photography coverage continued on board in the open air and ocean breeze. It took a little balance and coordination, but Yu and Mark were steady (and ready!) as they made their way up to the bow of the boat of Trilogy Excursions. We love how they decorated the boat with garlands and flower arrangements, adding another layer of beauty to their already extraordinary ocean setting. The views were incredible, as you can see! The late afternoon light made for vivid and bright photos capturing the essence of their joy and happiness!

As the sun set on the horizon, their Maui wedding photography coverage came to a close but not without a slice of delicious cake first! Their turquoise ocean-colored cake was the perfect choice for their sailboat celebration, don’t you think?

The newlyweds had the most romantic finish to their big day with nothing but each other, the ocean, and the golden sunset…it doesn’t get any more romantic that sailing away into the sunset with your new Mr. or Mrs.!
