As a family of three living on the beautiful Big Island, they lead an active lifestyle, enjoying everything the island has to offer, from beach days to snorkeling adventures and scenic hikes. It was a joy to work with this wonderful family and capture new portraits for their family album!

Home In the Islands

For Kristina, their daughter, who was born on the Big Island, this photo session was an opportunity to capture precious memories of her childhood in Hawaii. With a desire to create new family portraits, the Zhydkova family eagerly awaited their session at Old Kona Airport Beach! We were honored to work with this sweet local family to capture some timeless moments in a place they call home.

The sun cast a warm and inviting glow over the beach for their session. The Zhydkova family stepped in front of the camera with smiles on their faces and hearts full of love. It was a bright and sunny morning, perfectly suited for capturing joyful moments and creating lasting memories.

Kristina, with her enthusiasm for collecting shells and swimming with her friends, added a playful energy to the session. And her parents looked on with pride and affection… She looked so sweet in her pink beach dress! Together, they explored the beach, posing against a backdrop of palm trees and white sand.
