When Kelsey came to Hawaii, we’re sure she didn’t expect to be leaving engaged! Aaron created a secret plan to pop the question Kelsey never saw coming! These Maui proposal portraits capture the special moments from the proposal beautifully.

The Maui Surprise Proposal

Aaron planned to propose on the beach then capture stunning portraits on the cliffs. So that made Ironwoods, a north Maui beach, the perfect location for this! The ivory sandy shores and cool cerulean water created a stunning backdrop. Paired with the pastel hues of blue and peach across the sky — this romantic proposal looks like a daydream! 

One thing we love most about these Maui proposal portraits is the captivating glow on their faces after Kelsey says yes! Both of them are shimmering with happiness on the inside, and you can see it on their faces too.

The sun is shining right on them and adding a little sparkle to their photos. However, they don’t need it because they are glowing in every shot!

Although this was a surprise, we can’t help but notice that Kelsey dressed perfectly for the occasion. We love how the coral in her dress look stunning with the warm tones of Aaron’s outfit. Together, the colors of their clothes are complementing the cool shades of this beach naturally!

We like every photo but this has to be one of our favorites! It looks like a painting behind them with striking rocks, the wavy ocean, and a delicate sunset. Most of all, we love that they’re having so much fun here!
