It was a beautiful morning for The Anderson’s Kauai family portrait! Also, a long-awaited one at that! They had never had their family photos taken professionally before, so naturally, they were excited (well, mainly mom and dad!) It was our pleasure to capture special moments from their vacation so they can have memories to treasure for years to come! This was the first time their sweet kids visited Hawaii! Laura and Jarrod have been before, but they wanted their son Tucker, and daughter, Emma Jo, to experience the island too!
As you can see, the ocean was raging in the background! The ocean spray from the crashing waves creates and luminous effect in the photos…our darling family valued this quality time to reflect and enjoy the present moment together!
This dramatic and jaw-dropping beautiful location is Shipwrecks Beach, known for its rugged and natural beauty on Kauai’s South Shore! The locals gave the beach its name because an old shipwreck once beached on the shore nearby, but we love it for Kauai family portrait sessions because of the striking beauty of the scenery!
And since they’re on a beach in Hawaii – why not get a little silly like Tucker? Our beautiful family is so easygoing and loves the slow island lifestyle…and since they have no family photos together, they couldn’t have picked a better location than a beach in Kauai! We love the aloha vibes of their attire too!
