Their recent elopement in Kalalau was proof that they don’t shy away from a challenge but rather embrace it with open arms. Additionally, what better way to celebrate their love than by hiking into the Kalalau Valley via the NaPali Coast trail? Their portrait session reflects their unique personalities, newlywed joy, and their adventurous spirit, as you’ll see below!

Our Greatest Adventure Yet

When they first came to us for their Kauai couples portrait, we knew we had to capture their adventurous spirit! Angela and Ryan wanted something unique and different, something that would truly reflect who they are as a couple. And boy, did we deliver!

On a bright and sunny day, we suggested Shipwrecks Beach as the perfect location for their portrait. The rugged scenery and crashing waves were a match made in heaven for our daring duo. They played in the waves and explored the caves, all while looking so incredibly happy and in love.

Despite the dramatic beauty of the cliffs and crashing waves, Angela and Ryan’s playful energy shone through in every shot. These two were in their element, and it showed. The softness of their affection added a beautiful contrast to the roughness of the environment around them, don’t you think?

We couldn’t be happier for Angela and Ryan and their wedding adventure. It takes a special kind of couple to hike into the Kalalau Valley and make it their own, and these two are certainly nothing short of extraordinary!
