It was only a matter of time for these two lovebirds! Angela and Travis’ Maui beach wedding was an elegant and simple affair. Sometimes without all the bells and whistles is truly the way to go! After hearing of their starcrossed love story, we couldn’t have been more thrilled for our charming couples’ big day! Keep reading to find out how these two finally realized they were meant to be together all along!

Meant To Be

So, these two have quite an entwined back story. It took us a minute to follow, but we are so glad they finally found each other in the end!

Here’s how it goes; they met when Angela was 17 and Travis was 23 with a wife! At the time, Travis’ wife was a study partner with Angela’s current boyfriend. A few years later and a new boyfriend for Angela, Travis ended up being the best man at her wedding in 2015! This sounds like a movie storyline, no?! Fast forward 21 years later, they found each other on Facebook and began dating shortly thereafter! Eventually, Travis moved from Washington to Arizona to be with Angela, and here we are, tying the knot in Maui!

After a whirlwind romance, our newlyweds were always drawn to Hawaii. Travis currently works in Alaska so they both welcomed the warmth and sunshine of Maui! We totally get it! It was their dream to have a Maui beach wedding. As outdoor enthusiasts, they love the variety of activities on Maui from hiking to fishing – it’s their dream holiday destination. Our white sandy beaches are far cry from the snowy Alaskan wilderness! So, we were so honored to be a part of their gorgeous Maui beach wedding!

Paradise Found

When the sun began to dip, the island showered the couple in its magic on their Maui beach wedding! These photos were some of our favorites of the day! The colors were so soft and pastel in hue. We love how Angela’s bouquet matched the violet sky! After all this time, our lovely couple danced on the beach for the first time as husband and wife!

The setting for these timeless photos was Maluaka beach, just south of Wailea. This beach, with its privacy and location, is ideal for sunset beach weddings, as you can see in the photos! With grateful hearts, these two, at last, are where they are meant to be – with each other. We like to think it’s serendipity in Maui!
