What a joy it was to capture the Quiniola’s Oahu family portrait recently! Their sweet session began with plenty of smiles and giggles, as seen in their photos below! Katie and Chris wanted to capture their growing girls at one of their favorite and familiar locations – at the beach! To see more of their lovely family portrait, keep scrolling!

Growing Girls

Oahu is a very significant place for the Quiniola family, as Chris was born there! He eventually moved away at a young age but regularly returned to visit his friends and extended family. So naturally, Katie and Chris wanted to share their love of Hawaii with their shy and sweet daughters, Caroline and Emily. As you can see, their growing girls love to play in the shallows and sand! The beach is so much more fun with a sibling!

Their beautiful Oahu family portrait session in the morning also marked two special upcoming occasions! Katie will be turning 40, and little one Emily just turned 2! Happiest of birthdays to you both! Oahu is a fantastic place to celebrate these momentous events! On top of that, both parents wanted a laid-back family portrait session that reflected their love of Hawaii. We think these photos do just that!

Before shooting on the beach at Paradise Cove for their Oahu family portrait, Katie did admit that her sweet daughters were camera shy! Although, it didn’t take long before their curious looks turned to broad smiles! Emily took her big sister Caroline’s lead! Their darling girls are so adorable!

The Quiniolas’ weren’t hesitant to get a little wet, either! Katie and Chris encouraged their delightful daughters to twirl in the shallow water and explore the tide pools. We thoroughly approve of ocean adventures as a family! Everywhere you turn on Oahu, there is another gorgeous beach to explore. Luckily for our lovely family, they will be returning again and again as their daughters grow!
