Starting our day by taking Ashton and Kent’s Maui Elopement Photographywas an absolute blast! And we couldn’t have asked for a better morning for it. When we got to Po’olenalena Beach we thought it might rain but the sun quickly came out and we never saw one drop of rain! Having never been to Hawaii these grooms were so excited to get married here! And we are so glad they did because it gave us the opportunity to get to know their story. It’s a good one and ends with Kent proposing to Ashton on their 3rd anniversary on a private plane ride above where they live. We told you it was good, and just wait until you hear the rest!
These two are Southern boys raised in rural North Carolina. They even attended the same college but didn’t meet until Ashton moved to Kent’s home county to teach. Ashton teaches chorus and drama while Kent teaches english at the local high schools. They both love music, plays and drama and their English Bulldog, Shoal. And even though their dog couldn’t be at their ceremony, Brooke our Director of Operations who has a love of Bulldogs, photoshopped a photo of Shoal onto the beach as an added bonus! How cool is that?!
