We’re super excited to introduce a very special Maui senior! Brooke is the younger sister of Cheynice, one of our own talented photographers and editors. During this time of lockdowns and social distancing, it was all too perfect that Cheynice was able to get behind the lens to snap some epic (and gorgeous!) Maui senior portraits of her sister!
Like all of our Maui seniors, Brooke’s graduation was canceled due to the Covid-19 epidemic, but Cheynice said her sister was still smiling: “She’s one of the babies of our family and the last to graduate from Maui High School this year. She’s bummed her graduation wasn’t like the rest of her siblings, but that didn’t stop her from having an amazing senior portrait session.”
The session started at their home. Brooke was decked out in a gorgeous flower crown and a glow fit for a superstar influencer! How on-point is this talented senior’s glam?
Soon after, the duo headed to Honolua Jungle. “Brooke is typically shy and reserved,” said Cheynice. “But that day, she was confident and loved being in front of the camera.”
Who wouldn’t be confident with a spirit as bright as Brooke’s! Own it girl – you’re amazing!
Of course, this Maui senior portrait wouldn’t be complete without an inspirational cap and gown session! These photos will be treasured forever…
Cheynice said that after high school, “Brooke is either going to go into nursing or join the military. She’s smart and we know we’ll support any decision she makes.” Nursing or the military? Looks like this senior is heading down the #savinglives career path!
Following the jungle photo session, they headed down the Kapalua Coastal Trail. There’s something incredibly inspiring about a young person with so much potential set against the powerful aqua waves of the sea. This senior is going to change the world…
