With youngest Brown Family member, Walker, reaching his first birthday while on island, it seemed like the perfect time to capture Maui Family Portraits. What a blast we had with this fabulous family of four as they played along the golden shore. Celebrating his milestone birthday on the actual day of the shoot, the adorable tyke couldn’t help but show off his too-cute smiles and heart melting eyes. The best compliment to his perfect pout? His stunning sister, Lady! Breathtaking at five years old, this gal is sharp as a tack and has no shortage of personality. Sweet as can be, the kids of the Brown Family were an absolute pleasure to photograph as they frolicked in the cool sand sand and calm water.
Seeking more of a candid approach, the California crew wanted to focus on the laughter and natural moments that unfold when you have little ones this age. Those are the images that warm your heart when you look back on them later because they are such great representations of who the kids really are. Posed portraits certainly have their place, of course, but there’s something about that moment of pure bliss when the genuine laughter radiates right out of the image. That’s exactly how we feel about the sweet shots of this loving group. We just adored them!
