Celebrating their anniversary and another pregnancy was the perfect excuse for a Maui Family Portrait session! The last time Ashley and her husband visited Maui was 10 years ago for their honeymoon. It’s always a blast for a couple to revisit the place they first vacationed as husband and wife, and how much more fun for this couple to share this moment with their growing family! They now have a sweet little boy and are expecting another mini man, due in January. We are so excited for the Carlson Family and stoked they decided to celebrate with us at Southside Beach! We love this location because of the variety of scenery and consistency of the weather. Strong winds and rain are VERY rare at this location. Its light golden sand and clear blue water never disappoint!
Ashley looked flawless, it’s true what they say about the pregnancy glow, her halter maxi dress was eye catching in all the right ways! We think it’s especially great how the colors of her husband’s shirt and son’s shorts were inspired by the color palette of her dress. This is an easy way to coordinate outfits without being too matchy-matchy. They are an absolutely beautiful family! It was an incredible experience to witness these parents soaking up the Maui sun with their first born. It’s easy to see how much they love him and we know their love will only magnify as they welcome another bundle of joy!
