Maui is magic. There’s something about the ocean breeze, the warmth of the sun, and the sheer beauty of the island that makes everything feel like it’s meant to be. And when you’re there with family——it becomes even more profound. This trip, the Chang’s first family trip all-together, was no exception! So it called for a Maui family portrait to commemorate it all.
The Changs gathered at Ironwoods Beach, the sand stretching beneath their feet, the gentle waves crashing in the background, and, of course, the kids—their two girls, aged three and seven, and Amy’s brother’s son and daughter, both around the same age—running and playing like they were born for this moment. It was one of those rare moments when everything aligned. The kids, so full of energy, got along effortlessly. It was one of those sessions that brought their family even closer!
The best part? They’d never had a group family portrait before! Let alone a Maui family portrait! As Amy’s parents grow older, she couldn’t help but feel an overwhelming desire to capture this time. To remember them all healthy, happy, and full of life. It’s easy to let time slip by, but this photo, this moment, will forever remind us of how special it was to be together in that space, at that time! The joy was palpable, and the laughter was contagious!
Ironwoods Beach was the perfect backdrop for this picture-perfect memory. The Changs will carry it with them always—the smiles frozen in time, their hearts full.
