We are so happy we had the chance to capture some Maui Family Portraits for the Cook Family while there were in Maui for the holidays.
They have the kind of life that most people think only exists in movies. They live on a boat with their two boys and dog Daisy and travel the world. They have a home base in Maui but have not been back in a year. Currently, their boat is in the Carribean and once they get back to it after the holidays they are thinking of heading to the Mediterranean. What an amazing way to live and have your kids experience other cultures!
The Day of the Session
It was a bright and sunny morning for portraits at Palauea beach. The West Maui Mountains were clear and tall and the sky and ocean a beautiful shade of blue! We started with some more formally posed Maui family portraits, then let the kids run free and captured some fun candids. Daisy was the cutest photobomber we have ever seen, always running into the shots and trying to jump and play! We love it when families bring their pets, after all, they are a part of the family too!
