The Danks are a charming family of four! Mariah, her husband, and their two delightful children visited the island from Oregon. While they were here, they got a break from their home state’s winter weather. Based on those dazzling smiles, you can tell they appreciated Hawaii’s tropical climate!

Why We Adore Their Maui Beach Portraits

There’s so much to love about these family photos — from the gorgeous location to their bright expressions! You can see how comfortable every member of this group is in front of the camera. Their easygoing energy made these pictures feel more lighthearted and relaxed! Above all, we like how effortlessly their outfits go together. The varying shades of coral and blue in their attire balance with one another beautifully! 

Ironwoods Beach was the location for this session. Ivory sand, foamy sapphire waves, and natural lava rock formations exquisitely painted the background. Our favorite thing about this spot is how the dramatic cliffs made every photo look epic! Above our happy family was a brilliant sunset! Since there was light cloud coverage, the rays shined down on the shore radiantly!

We had a great time capturing these Maui beach portraits! The Danks were enthusiastic when they arrived at this Westside destination. Throughout the session, they explored Ironwoods for the best landscapes with us! Most importantly, this cheerful bunch wasn’t afraid to put their feet in the water or stand on the cliffs!
