Family Portraits in Maui don’t get more fun than this! We met up with the Diamond Ohana at Baby Beach for a day filled with smiles and plenty of action shots! After a hilarious mix-up with a different photographer (more on this later), we gathered this beautiful crew and clicked away as they did their thing. From poses to candids, to everything in between, this photo session was Diamond-level material!

Curious about the mixup? Tucker down because we’ve got a story for you! Kela, one of our talented Maui Family Photographers, arrived at Baby Beach that morning with the Diamonds nowhere to be seen. There was one standout family, however, an adorable crew dressed in popping outfits that fit the description of the Diamond Family. The only problem, they were already with another photographer! And clearly, this photographer was over-the-moon to have such a beautiful family in front of her lens!
But the ages checked out, the descriptions checked out–this group had to be the Diamonds.
Not wanting to lose a minute more, Kela stepped in and asked if they were the Diamonds. Turns out the other photographer’s clients were running late, so she tried to snag our gorgeous fam! Okay, to be fair, she was genuinely confused and it was entirely accidental… or was it? Just look at this awesome crew, who wouldn’t want to photograph them?! They’re a photographer’s dream!
The Diamond Family
Mom and Dad were last on the island for their honeymoon and were thrilled to have their children join them for this trip. Their 9-year-old daughter is the jester in the family, and their 11-year-old son tends to be more serious. But put them on the pristine Maui shore with crystal-clear water, and the fun would not stop!
