The Ekdahls were vacationing on the island to commemorate many different milestones! While they were in Hawaii, they decided to take Kauai family portraits. There were numerous destinations to capture these pictures. However, our lovely group chose Shipwrecks Beach! A photo session amidst the lush greenery, ivory sand, and sapphire waves is the perfect excuse to relax with your loved ones. Kauai has a special place in the Ekdahl’s hearts! They visit Hawaii every year in August — they usually stay on Kauai. However, this tropical getaway was full of firsts and commemorations! Linda and her husband were celebrating their 40th anniversary and his 70th birthday. In addition, Linda’s daughter, Lindsey, brought her boyfriend to Hawaii with them.
Where They Took Their Kauai Family Portraits
Shipwrecks Beach set the scene for this photo shoot. We love taking pictures here because there are breathtaking landscapes at this seaside location. During this session, we captured portraits with the aqua waves, pearl sand, and epic rock formations in the background. Then the weather was beautiful as it could be! There were a few small clouds, but they didn’t block the blue sky. Most importantly, the morning sun shined brilliantly on the sandy shoreline!
The Ekdahls were looking forward to having Kauai family portraits taken on the beach! They plan to use these photos as a forever memory of their good times in Hawaii. Thankfully, they have a great collection to choose from! Their photographer, Julia, effortlessly captured their lighthearted and joyful moments. This shot is one of our favorite ones. We adore how they’re getting letting the foamy waves wash on their feet!
