They started their morning by making memories on the beach while we captured all of them! Not to mention, the background was stunning, and the weather was impeccable. Kanaha Beach was the backdrop for this session! We like this Central Maui spot because it is tucked away and tranquil. You’ll find sapphire waves and pearl sand in this area. We love how they made every shot look like a tropical dream! Then the lush greenery, dramatic rocks, and lofty palm trees effortlessly enhance the captivating scene. Most importantly, this destination is one of our favorite places for family photos; you can see why! The island’s natural beauty — paired with the tranquility, makes this seaside location an excellent background for photos.
Why They Took Maui Family Portraits
The Wettengels were excited to take photos on the beach — you tell from their radiant smiles and joyful expressions. It’s been a few years since they’ve taken family pictures, so they were ready for some updates! They couldn’t wait for us to capture their moments because they knew they’d be the perfect decorations for their home. Above all, we can’t wait to see which portraits they decide to hang on their walls! We have a few favorites, but we know our charming bunch will have many more.
Our beautiful trio was visiting the island from Tucson, Arizona! The Wettengel’s first time in Hawaii was in 2017 when they vacationed in Kauai. However, this time, they were looking forward to exploring a new island when they planned this tropical getaway! More than anything, they were counting down to their Maui family portraits session.
