Eric and Maya’s Big Island proposal portrait was nothing short of sweet! Having met during their senior year at the University of Maryland, their love story began as part of the same friend group. Fast forward three years, a couple of months of long-distance, and a big move to Seattle, and here they are, about to celebrate 3.5 years together! While Maya’s friends were sure a proposal was coming later in the year, Eric had other plans—and she didn’t see it coming!

With Maya’s roommate working behind the scenes to ensure everything was perfect (dress packed, nails done, the whole nine yards), Maya thought she was simply going on a beautiful trip to Hawaii. Little did she know, Eric had something up his sleeve! After a lovely dinner, Eric led her to a more private spot, surrounded by the island’s natural beauty. That’s when the moment arrived—he popped the question! And Maya’s reaction? Pure joy!

Of course, she said yes! The excitement, the love, and the surprise all wrapped up into one beautiful moment. The way they looked at each other was incredible, and capturing their love in that instant was such a privilege. Every shot radiated happiness, with the stunning Hawaiian sunset and nature as the perfect backdrop!

 

Eric and Maya are so in love, and it was amazing to see how happy they were in every moment we captured. From the laughter to the sweet glances, it was a session filled with love and joy. We’re beyond honored to have been part of this special occasion and wish them a lifetime of happiness. Congratulations, Eric and Maya!
