Lighthearted Memories – The Freligh’s Maui Family Portrait

We are excited to share our time with Frelighs during their Maui family portrait session! This beautiful family includes Lauren, who is 25, and Faith, who is 18, both of whom were reserved but very easy to photograph! Faith is a sophomore in college and is on the crew team, while Lauren recently graduated and is now working for Brooks Running in Seattle. Holly and Erick, who have been married forever (their words!), love visiting Maui. It’s one of their favorite places!
Meeting close-knit families like the Frelighs gets us so excited to capture precious family moments! It had been a few years since their last family portrait session. So, they were looking forward to not only taking group photos but also headshots for work too! Why not? They had a spectacular sunset for their portrait session, as you’ll see below!

Their beachy attire was perfectly chosen, with creamy and earthy tones that complemented the natural beauty of the island. We loved how at ease they were against the stunning backdrop of the sunset! It reflects the overall warm atmosphere of their Maui family portrait session!
As we walked around Polo Beach, we took advantage of all the tropical scenery and lighting. We made sure to capture both candid and posed shots of this beautiful family. It was a joy to see their love and connection shine through in every photograph!
