First, it was their wedding in 2018—a day filled with love, promises, and the kind of joy that stays with you long after the lei flowers fade. Then, it was their one-year anniversary in 2019, returning to soak in the magic of the island that had witnessed the start of their forever. And now, they were back again, but this time, with a new, very special travel companion: their 4-year-old son, Hayes for a Maui family portrait!
Because how do you explain the magic of Maui to a child? You don’t. You let them feel it. And you let them dig their fingers into the warm sand of Maluaka Beach, chase the waves as they rush up to shore, and watch the sky turn shades of pink and gold, like a painting so beautiful it must have been made just for them.
And, of course, you capture it with a Maui family portrait—the pure, unfiltered wonder in Hayes’ eyes, the way he fits so perfectly into this love story that started years ago on this very island. The session was effortless, filled with giggles and sandy toes, the golden light wrapping around them like an old friend.
They even sent up a little wish for a sea turtle cameo (because really, is it even a Maui trip without a turtle sighting?). But turtle or no turtle, the moment was perfect. The delight on their faces was priceless!
