Sometimes life gets busy, and we forget to make time to capture precious family moments. But the Gonzales family made a point to photograph their beautiful family on their recent Big Island vacation! They haven’t had photos taken in a long time, so these Big Island family portraits were long overdue! We had a wonderful time with this sweet family from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Their lovely daughters were so excited for some beach time too!

Beautiful Family Memories

This was actually their first family portrait with all six of them, and they were excited to capture this special moment in time. Jorge was celebrating his 50th birthday, making the occasion even more special! Their daughters, Adah, Emilia, Magdalena, and Viola, each have unique personalities and interests, and it was such a joy to capture their individuality in the portraits. Jorge and Andrea are so proud of their girls!

Our sweet family coordinated their outfits beautifully, adding a touch of beachy elegance to the natural surroundings at Old Kona Airport Beach. There are plenty of background options to choose from on this once-old landing strip!

The Gonzales are a close-knit bunch, supporting and loving each other in all of life’s moments. Adah is a nursing student who helps out the family with their busy schedules. Emilia is a talented dancer and pom dancer in high school, while Magdalena is a gymnast who shares a special bond with her younger sister, Viola, who plays softball. They were so happy to have some quality time all together as a family! It was the ultimate summer vacation…

After jumping in the tide pools and capturing all the different portrait combinations for their Big Island family portrait, they couldn’t help but shell hunting. And they found unique ones too! This mix of candid and posed portraits will undoubtedly be treasured for years to come….just like the shells they found!
