The Gottliebs wanted to do something unique for their Maui family photography. Instead of taking their portraits at a beach or jungle, they decided on an urban backdrop! Although they love the tropical landscapes, they wanted a town scene for their pictures. Above all, we couldn’t be happier with their photos! Our charming family of five was visiting from San Diego, California! The Gottliebs love Maui — they take a trip to Hawaii every summer. Since this destination is their happy place, they adore getting their moments captured at this tropical place. The last time they vacationed here, they took portraits with us in the Honolua Jungle! However, they decided to mix it up this session with a more urban background. We thought this was a great idea — especially since they’ve taken photos in almost every part of the island! This new collection will not only be fresh memories, but they’ll have a unique backdrop as well.
The Stunning Maui Family Photography
The Gottliebs are a beautiful bunch of five, consisting of Brett, his wife, Lital, and their three children! Brett is a financial advisor and owns a thriving business in San Diego, while Lital sells women’s athleisure wear. Their kiddos are ten, eight, and four years old — they all adore Maui too! Most importantly, this lively group is full of different dynamics. We wanted to ensure we captured everyone’s individual personalities and their essence as a family!
505 Front Street in Lahaina was the location for this session! This spot is perfect for Maui family photography because there are a variety of landscapes. We started by taking photos with the lush greenery and buildings in the town. Then we traveled to the sandy shoreline and got a few lighthearted beach portraits!
